International Students

Our family landed at Sumner school with our 6-year-old boy when the COViD pandemic found us in New Zealand much longer than expected! From the first phone call to the School Office, we were greeted with enthusiasm and support to enrol our son in this wonderful community school. We quickly were known on a first-name basis with the Principal, Business Manager, and other administrative staff, who went out of their way to make sure we had our questions answered, and we felt welcome and supported every step of the way. Our son has been so happy attending Sumner school and we are very satisfied with the quality of the teachers, curriculum, and diversity of subjects as well as social learning opportunities. We couldn’t be happier having landed here!
